1. What can you do for me that a regular store doesn't offer?
A retail store carries a standard inventory, and that's all they can offer you. Whenever you buy from a retail outlet, you are always buying 'off the rack'. Here at Kustom Looks Clothier, everything is custom tailored. This is our only business. Its how we can create fully custom made shirts, suits, skirts and slacks in the exact style and fabric of your choice.
2. I notice I can only view samples online. Why can't I purchase?
You need the trained eye of our haberdashers and tailors to ensure your attire fits well. That's why we schedule a personal consultation with you. Our haberdashers will create a digital profile of your physical attributes. Furthermore, your consultation includes a personal interview to determine your specific needs. If you have ordered from us before, we will re-check your measurements and make sure your clothing fits perfectly.
3. Can I schedule an onsite visit with your haberdasher in my home or office?
Certainly. We suggest scheduling the appointment in our Silver Spring showroom in order to view our vast collection and fabrics. Onsite appointments are scheduled on an availability basis.
4. What is your price range?
Suits start around US $700 to $2500.00 based on fabric quality. Shirts range from $95 to $200. Sports Coats are typically two-thirds the price of a suit, and slacks run about one-third the price of a suit. Because of our premium satin facing, Tuxedos are $100 to $200 more than a suit.
5. Do I have to get re-measured every time I pick something out?
Not at all. Once we create your digital profile, re-orders are easy. If you want something new, all you have to do is select the cloth and style.
6. Where will my clothes be made?
Every custom suit, shirt, jacket, and pair of slacks that we sell is cut and sewn by our master tailors in Bangkok, Thailand. On completion of your order, all garments are shipped to our showroom in Silver Spring, Maryland for an initial and final fitting.
7. When I place my order, can I choose different styles? Is it possible to request different collars, cuffs, pockets or other unique features on my shirts?
Absolutely. We offer various style options for suits, shirts, and trousers. Our ladies and men’s collections allow you to mix and match styles to your personal taste. For the more creative fashionista, we offer an interactive software service that allows you to draft your own unique style and designs. The interactive software service is a premium service that has an additional charge.
8. Can I use different fabrics? Can I order white collars and/or cuffs?
Yes, of course!!! You may choose any fabric we offer. We stock well over 2000 fabrics, all of which come with high thread counts for rich texture and feel. We only put a few samples up here on our site. If you don't find the exact fabric you're looking for, simply send us an e-mail with the description, or a photograph from a catalog or magazine. We'll try to find the perfect match for you.
9. Are new fabrics available frequently?
Yes, throughout the year we introduce new fabrics. Let us know if you have a specific request, and we will endeavor to find the fabric for you.
10. Does each and every customer get his own personalized pattern?
Absolutely! A precise paper pattern is prepared based on your digital profile consisting of your personal measurements and requirements. The only thing that is the same for all of our customers is our commitment to quality.
11. Is it possible for you to duplicate the fit of a favorite shirt presently in my wardrobe?
Absolutely. Just send us your shirt with your order. We'll be glad to incorporate any changes you might want, then return the shirt you sent, along with your new Kustom Looks Clothier shirts.
12. Do you share your customer list with other companies?
We never have, and we never will. We respect and value your privacy. We do not disclose your information to any third parties, we don’t sell any information. All information asked from you is only used to make and ship our products to you.
13. How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders take a minimum of 30 days. We always try our best to deliver sooner. There is an additional charge for rush orders. If you need your orders sooner please send in your request and we'll do our best to get it to you in time.
14. How are you different from the other custom tailors who advertise on the Internet? Why should I choose you?
Glad you asked. Our point of difference is how we take care of our customers. It shows in the craftsmanship details, the way we respond to requests, and ultimately in the value of each garment that bears the Kustom Looks Clothier name.
15. What are my options if you do not have my measurements? Can I measure myself?
In this case, have someone else measure you or send us your best fitting shirt or suit for us to copy. When sending us your best fitting suit or shirt, you can specify whether to duplicate it or make any changes. After we make your shirt or suit, we will send back the sample you provided with your new order.
16. Can I embroider my company's logo?
Yes we can embroider your logo on the garments you order, please email us the quantity with a digital image of the logo you want us to embroider.
17. Are the pants lined?
We give you the option of half lining, full lining, and no lining. All our trousers come standard with crutch and half lining. There is a $15 extra charge on full lining.
18. Is working buttons on sleeves possible?
Working button holes are standard when purchasing a suit at full retail price. When purchasing suits on sale, there is an extra charge of $20 to have the sleeves with working buttons.
19. Do you customize clothing in any style? Can I send you images of designer’s styles for you to duplicate from?
Yes we can tailor garments in most styles. If you would like us to custom make garments to styles not displayed or available at our website, we can do this if the image file or a link to an online image is emailed to us along with the order. Please provide the image before placing the order for our confirmation and further instructions. Our email address is info@kustomlooks.com. 20. Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major credit cards: VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, and DISCOVER.
21. Do I have to pay all upfront? Can I pay on delivery? Do you offer credit terms?
We allow for 2 payments: 50% when placing the order and 50% at the fitting. Currently, we do not accept payments on delivery. All payments have to be made before the final delivery.
22. Can I order by fax or phone?
Yes, you can call us to place an order or simple send us a fax. We can take your credit card via phone or fax. All faxes can be sent to 877-371-2161.
23. Can I set up a group meeting at my home or office?
Absolutely!!! Our haberdasher will bring along a large fabric sample collection of the latest fabrics to your location. We also take full responsibility of delivering your order to your guests. For hosting and referring us to your friends and colleagues, we will give you a special discount on your personal orders.
24. What is the Return Policy?
Kustom Looks is dedicated to maintaining total customer satisfaction to the fullest possible way. If there is any error on our part, we would alter, replace or discount the product. An order already placed with an initial deposit cannot be cancelled. All orders can be returned to us for alterations and corrections within 30 days free of charge. 25. I would like to cancel an Order. Can I? How?
We are very sorry to say that all orders placed with an initial deposit cannot be cancelled. Under some circumstances, we may allow you to cancel the order however with 25% fabric restocking fees. This can only be done if the order is still pending and tailoring has not begun yet.
